NICE TRY

I went to the grocery store to help my Dad with holiday grocery shopping last week. One of the employees thought he was being all smooth and observant, but he couldn't have been more hilariously further from the truth.

"YOU must be a nurse, or a doctor, am I right?"

"Nope, actually, I'm an animator."

PFFFFFFFFFFF

  1. HA! Last panel's expression is EXCELLENT xD
Just a suggestion, (because for once in my life I have feedback/critique besides the ever-so-helpful "THAT'S AWESOME!") but I noticed that there's a jump in screen direction/sides between the 2nd and 3rd panel, where you drew yourself on the right and suddenly you're on the left in the next panel... I was just thinking and it could be really funny if, after the 2nd panel, you inserted a panel of his POV giving you the once-over, so, pan up from your waist to head with you in the center of the frame, then cut to that 3rd panel you have of him continuing to examine you. That way the panel is kind of a buffer to cue the direction change? AND it emphasizes him analyzing your doctor-ness :P

    1. Oh wow, totally missed that!! Hahahaha so amazing that I can make such a rookie mistake so quickly XD Thanks for pointing that out! I got bored while I was working and procrastinated by sketching out this moment, and I guess I wasn't paying attention too much :P

      THANKS DEMI YOU'RE THE BEST!
