A story for Inktober!
Today, my friend Amelia invited me to hike up a trail
leading up to the "Wisdom Tree", and this gorgeous view of LA. She
warned me it was steep, and I was stoked to go, BUT MY BODY WAS NOT
READY. I did fine about 3/4 of the way there, but the last stretch
was........rough.
The neat thing about this place (other than the gorgeous view) was this little metal box that was sitting right underneath the tree. It was filled with with notes, drawings, and even photos from various people who had made the steep climb to the tree. We found a composition notebook with some empty pages, and this was my contribution.
(Note: Drawn with the SHAKIEST of hands. As I said, my body was not ready for this hike.)

Father's Day Card
Belated Father's Day post! This is the card I made for my Dad. I have my Dad to thank for learning how to approach life with a great attitude, and to always be laughing and joking around. He is always around to make me smile when I'm feeling down about anything, and I wouldn't be the happy and optimistic person I am today without my Dad. I love him so so much.
Plus, he makes a mean steak. The true Grill Sergeant in my opinion. (Hehehehe GET IT!?)

Star Wars Storyboards
So yesterday was pretty much a FANTASTIC day. I went to Bookcon this weekend in NYC, and found this gem right here. I saw it on display and it was the LAST COPY LEFT aaaaaaaaand it was 20% off!! I zoned in on it IMMEDIATELY and bought it without even thinking twice about it. Every page is filled with gorgeous hand drawn storyboards, it's super inspiring, I can't stop staring at it, I love it so much, and I will treasure it for years to come. Extremely pleased with my purchase :]
